North Shore Surf & Turf Triathlon & Biathlon
The North Shore Surf & Turf Biathlon will be held at the beautiful North Shore Villas on October 15, 2016. This race will consist of a 3 mile run, followed by a 3 mile paddle(1.5mi paddle for SUP's), wrapped up with a plate full of southern comfort food served by Lone Star BBQ.

3 mile trail run
3 Mile Paddle (1.5 for SUP's)
Event I: 3 Mile Run
The run course takes place on a mixed road and off-road course. It will be a flat and fast 2 x 1.5mi loop course which is perfect for us to load up the finish line with support to cheer you on.
You must wear the race number that is provided in “front.”
Aid stations will be located throughout the course. Water will be provided.
No headphones, radios, etc.
Event 2: 3 Mile Paddle
The kayak course is set on the open water of Lake Marion and should provide an ideal arena for strong paddlers.
Approved PFDs must be worn at all times when participants are in their kayak.
Mass start. If more than 40 participants sign up, we will break up the event into starting waves.
If a participant has a support person they may have assistance launching and docking their kayak. There will also be volunteers to provide support for participants.
Buoys will mark the course.
If you need assistance from a race official, blow a whistle, wave your hand or wave your paddle overhead.
Kayak rental is available, but reservations must be made prior to race day
Race day registration will be available from 12:00 - 2:45.
Participants who register on race day may not receive a race shirt due to limited supply
